Property Campaign

NONDC has surveyed and mapped all property conditions in a strategic subsection of Central City and is undertaking a property campaign focusing on resident involvement as the main catalyst for eradicating blight in the neighborhood. The property campaign uses visual surveys, GIS mapping, letters to blighted property owners signed by residents and advocacy in the code enforcement process to further the blight elimination process.

Central City Property Conditions Occupancy Map

These maps are the product of visual property assessments conducted by NONDC staff, neighborhood residents and volunteers. They help identify which clusters within Central City have the most blight and should therefore receive primary attention from the property campaign.
