On March 20, NONDC partnered with Parkway Partners and City Year Louisiana for our second street tree planting in Central City. Several neighbors joined us to help plant and clean

up Josephine Street between Clara and Magnolia Streets. Twenty new trees were planted which will help shade and beautify the area. NONDC looks forward to continuing projects such as this which will help strengthen Central City and compliment our home building efforts. A special thank you goes out to the Home Depot for supplying mulch and shovels and to Slice Pizzeria for providing our volunteers a well deserved lunch.
